There’s a Facebook posting that’s been getting shared around lately featuring this adorable Jellyfish Pendant designed by Marlina of Russia and provided as a free download. We thought it was the perfect piece to accompany our “Under the Sea” peyote bracelet! This is relatively simple to make, so I encourage both beginner and intermediate beaders to give it a try. For your convenience, we’ll be putting together packets of the assortment of beads needed.
Date & Time: Wednesday, Sept 4, 10:30-12:30 | Friday, Sept 6, 2:30-4:30 | Thursday, Sept 12, 5:30-7:30
Difficulty Level: Beginner & Intermediate | Technique: Tubular netting, fringe | Beadvisor: Laura
Cost: $9 plus $12 for the package of materials or you can use your Laura’s Bead Addicts Membership Card
This Bead Circle qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on the session day and we’ll waive the fee!
Pattern: This piece is designed by Marlina of Russia and was posted as a free tutorial on livemaster.com. We will print copies of this pattern for participants who attend this class. Follow @Marlina_club on Instagram for other fun bead tutorials!
What is a Bead Circle?
Beading at home is a relaxing and enjoyable hobby, there is no doubt about it, but beading as a group is FUN! Several times a month we’ll pick a project and gather in the beading room at Laura’s. Most bead circle projects we choose do require some knowledge of bead-weaving and a comfort level with reading patterns since beaders will be working more independently than in a class setting, however this particular project is beginner friendly. One of our staff (also known as your “Beadvisor”) is in the beading room during the session to help along the way.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room. Thank you!
