Bead Circle – Crystal Blossom Pendant
May 20, 2021 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Crystal Blossom Pendant
Seed beads, superduos, and ginko beads surround a sparkling crystal rivoli in this fun pendant that works up quickly!
This piece is designed by Vezsuzsi, https://www.etsy.com/shop/beadsbyvezsuzsi/
Technique: Circular peyote/bezeling; circular netting
Difficulty Level: Intermediate 1
If you’ve taken a few beginner classes, are starting to get comfortable with the language of beading and feel ready for the next step, this is the perfect class for you. This project will be just a little more complex than the beginner pieces, but still great for new beaders.
There is no charge to participate in a Bead Circle, however reservations are requested!
Pattern & Materials
This piece is featured in Beadwork Magazine, Dec/Jan 2021 Edition.
You must bring your copy of the magazine with you to this session. If you do not already have a copy of the magazine, we have them available for sale at the shop.
The materials list can be found in the magazine. I followed the designers list closely, however I noticed that Miyuki seed beads cooperated a little better than Toho for this particular project.
We kindly ask that you use beads purchased at our store when in our beading room.
What is a bead circle? Well we know that beading at home is a relaxing and enjoyable hobby, there is no doubt about it, but beading in a group is FUN! That’s what many of us have missed most during the pandemic. Laura will pick a project that catches her eye, either purchased from a designer’s website or Etsy shop, or published in a magazine. We’ll invite our beaders who may be interested in making the same piece to join her for a fun group beading session.
There is no charge to participate, however each person needs to purchase their own copy of the pattern in advance. We like having the opportunity to support and bring attention to all the talented designers out there. Seats will be limited and reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Attendees should already have experience in bead-weaving and a comfort level with reading patterns, since this is not a class and the chosen projects will not be at a beginner level.
