Beginner Wire Class: Wire and Beaded Toggle
September 26, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$9
Wire and Beaded Toggle
The idea for this project was inspired by Pearl Blay of “The Beading Gem”; we made a few changes when writing up our tutorial, but wanted to thank you her for her posting and the inspiration!
Dates: Tuesday, September 26 | Time: 10:30 – 12:30 | Difficulty Level: Beginner | Instructor: Gail
Cost: $9 plus materials or you can use your Laura’s Bead Addicts Membership Club Card (This class qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on class day and we’ll waive the class fee!)
Learn this easy technique for making your own toggle out of wire, firepolish and seed beads! We thought this was a wonderful way to end off a beaded piece of jewelry with a unique and perfectly matching clasp. Though we have a wide selection of beautiful clasps here at Laura’s Beads, sometimes it’s hard to find the one that really works with your colors, or you just keep gravitating towards the same ones and really want something different this time — this is the class for you!
New to Wireworking?
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate students; no previous experience is necessary. The class will be small in size so you’ll get plenty of teacher time. You’ll begin to familiarize yourself with working with wire and tools. The instructor will have already made the piece so that you can see what is looks like completed.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room, however you’re encouraged to bring along wireworking tools if you already have them. Thank you!
