Beginner Wire Class: Teardrop Pendant
May 2, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$5
Date: Tuesday, April 26 | Time: 10:30 – 12:30 | Difficulty Level: Beginner | Instructor: Gail
Cost: $5 plus materials (This class qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on class day and we’ll waive the $5 fee!)
This elegant pendant will get you compliments everywhere you go! You’ll start by building the base structure of the piece with a heavy wire and learn how to shape your wire with tools. Then you’ll use a coiling gizmo with medium wire to make a coil that will slide over part of the base. Lastly you’ll use a thin wire to add decorative crystals all around the outside. Place your large glass teardrop in the center you’ll have a sparkling finished piece!
New to Wireworking?
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate students; no previous experience is necessary. The class will be small in size so you’ll get plenty of teacher time. You’ll begin to familiarize yourself with working with wire and tools. The instructor will have already made the piece so that you can see what is looks like completed.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room, however you’re encouraged to bring along wireworking tools if you already have them. Thank you!
