Beginner Wire Class: Bohemian Bib Necklace
February 7, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$5
“Bohemian Bib Necklace”
Date: Tuesday, February 7 | Time: 10:30 – 12:30 | Difficulty Level: Beginner | Instructor: Gail
Cost: $5 plus materials (This class qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on class day and we’ll waive the $5 fee!)
When we came across these gorgeous pewter bib links we just knew we had to get them! In this class you’ll learn how to make wrapped loops using headpins to attach strands of beads. We found these to be a great opportunity to play with some of the rice beads that we have a selection of here at the shop. The long narrow shape lends itself well to this piece. Though once you make one in class, you’ll want to go home and play with different beads to see what other looks you can come up with!
New to Wireworking?
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate students; no previous experience is necessary. The class will be small in size so you’ll get plenty of teacher time. You’ll begin to familiarize yourself with working with wire and tools. The instructor will have already made the piece so that you can see what is looks like completed.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room, however you’re encouraged to bring along wireworking tools if you already have them. Thank you!
