Intermediate Bead-Weaving Class: Beaded Vase

May 5, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Beaded Vase

Inspired by design by Busy Crow Studios; modified by Laura’s Beads

There are many beautiful designs for beaded vases out there. We particularly liked one by Busy Crow Designs (check out their web link above) that we found several years ago, so we used some components of theirs to begin our design, then modified from there. We added extra bugles and made pointed drops to put a more contemporary spin on their more traditional original design. Since we originally made these in the fall, we also made a fun Halloween version! These make a wonderful gift.

Date & Time: Saturday, May 5, 10:30-12:30 | Difficulty Level:  Intermediate Level 1  |  Technique:  netting |  Instructor: Sue

Cost: $9 plus materials or you can use your Laura’s Bead Addicts Membership Club Card
This class qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on class day and we’ll waive the class fee!

Ready for the Next Step in Bead Weaving?

This is the perfect class for you! Intermediate bead weaving classes expand on the techniques you’ve learned in the beginner classes and take you to the next level. Some bead weaving experience is necessary to take an intermediate level class. Classes have a maximum of 10 people so that everyone gets plenty of teacher time.

We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room. Thank you!

New to bead weaving?

Start by attending some of our beginner bead-weaving classes and learn everything you need to know about bead weaving. Classes are small, so you’ll have plenty of teacher time. You’ll familiarize yourself with the terminology of bead weaving so you’ll start to understand how to read patterns and practice various stitches and techniques. In no time at all you’ll be ready to move up to intermediate level!
